Biography

Elizabeth (Needham) Mansfield immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Name

Elizabeth Needham was baptized December 11, 1636 at St. Martins Ludgate, London, England, the daughter of Edmund Needham and Joan Leazing. She had an older sister, Elizabeth, who was baptized at the same location July 22, 1632, and who was buried there June 6, 1635.[1][2]

She married Joseph Mansfield who was also born 1631 in Lynn, Essex, MA. he died on 22 April 1694.

Based on info found on AmericanAncestors.org, Elizabeth Needham's father (Edmund) did not migrate to Lynn until 1639, so I am assuming that Elizabeth was born in England, not Lynn, MA
